Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal revealed on Saturday that the much-anticipated Ola e-scooter had received 1 lakh pre-launch bookings in just 24 hours, making it the world’s “most pre-booked scooter.”
On July 15th, Ola Electric announced the start of bookings for a symbolic sum of $499 on its official website.
“India’s electric vehicle revolution is off to a fast start. Bhavish Aggarwal wrote on Twitter, “Many thanks to the 100,000+ revolutionaries who’ve joined us and reserved their scooter.”
