On July 15th, Ola Electric announced the start of bookings for a symbolic sum of $499 on its official website.

“India’s electric vehicle revolution is off to a fast start. Bhavish Aggarwal wrote on Twitter, “Many thanks to the 100,000+ revolutionaries who’ve joined us and reserved their scooter.”
“I am ecstatic by the overwhelming positive feedback we have received from customers across India for our first electric vehicle. “The record demand is a strong indicator of evolving customer preferences toward electric vehicles,” said Bhavish Aggarwal in a statement.

“This is a huge step forward in our mission to transition the world to sustainable mobility. I thank all the consumers who have booked the Ola Scooter and have joined the EV revolution. This is only the beginning!”
