Dhanush looks ferocious in the first trailer for the Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man.
Dhanush appears like a superhero in the first look from his next film The Gray Man, helmed by Avengers Endgame filmmakers Anthony and Joe Russo. In the first look snapshot issued by Netflix, he strikes a ferocious attitude.
And, it is going to be a wonderful day for all Dhanush fans out there. Reason? The first look poster from his upcoming Hollywood film The Gray Man is out. Oh boy. Dhanush looks fierce here. We can see him on a car’s roof with a cut on his forehead. Can’t miss that intense look either. Along with the poster, Dhanush wrote, “The Gray Man…July 22 on Netflix.” The film is directed by the Russo Brothers, Anthony and Joe Russo, who are known for Avengers: Endgame.The Gray Man also features Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Rege-Jean Page, Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick and Wagner Moura. The movie is based on Mark Greaney’s debut novel of the same name. Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura and Julia Butters are also part of the spy-thriller.
Coming back to Dhanush’s first look poster that has created a lot of buzz on social media. Actor Prasanna wrote, “Awesome bro.” Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi just “can’t wait” for the film. The Gray Man can be streamed on Netflix from July 22.
The ensemble cast also includes the likes of Ana de Armas, Rege-Jean Page, Jessica Henwick, Billy Bob Thornton and Wagner Moura.
The official Twitter account of Netflix India shared a still from the movie in which the 38-year-old actor can be seen in action mode on top of a car, sporting an intense look and blood on his face.
“The first look of @dhanushkraja in ‘The Gray Man’ is here and it’s vera maari vera maari,” the streamer wrote. The film will be exclusively streaming on Netflix.
The film is based on Mark Greaney’s 2009 novel of the same name, ‘The Gray Man’ is billed as an action-thriller which revolves around a freelance assassin and former CIA operative Court Gentry, played by Gosling.
The film follows Gentry as he is hunted across the world by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former member of Gentry’s CIA team.
Considering it marks Dhanush’s Hollywood debut, his fans shared excitement on social media as his look from the film was unveiled. They took to Twitter to share feedback on Dhanush’s look from the film.
Anthony Russo told EW, “We’re big fans of the spy genre, and we’re always looking for ways of how to twist it, or supercharge it, or push it into areas that feel fresh. There was a great idea at the center of this book, where it’s not just about being a spy, but being the most extreme version of one, where you have to hide your own identity — and yourself.”
